Digital Buying Experience —Improving Accessibility

  • A wholesale retailer wanted to improve the fulfillment selection process for users on its digital shopping platform after receiving negative customer feedback.

    Research Questions:

What are user needs for choosing a fulfillment option during their shopping journey?

How might the experience be more accessible for those using assistive technology?

  • I led both the quantitative and qualitative rounds of research for the team.

I conducted multiple surveys (Qualtrics and internal tools) and along with remote interviews.

  • The team updated the design based on research insights.

We collaborated with the experimentation team and ran A/B testing which showed increased conversion using the design changes.

Understanding Business User Segments For Reporting Tool

    Research Question:

What are key responsibilities and needs of each administrative group?

How might we streamline the submission request process?

  • I was the lead UX researcher on the team. I created a meta analysis of existing learnings and interviewed business users.

  • The business was able to make a confident roadmaps decision about allocating the time/resources need to improve the reporting tool.

User Experience For Educator Resource App

  • An edtech platform was seeing a low number of monthly active users with its professional development platform for educators.

    Research Questions:

What pain points exist with the current experience?

How might we surface the most relevant content to meet teacher needs?

  • I worked as the sole UX researcher and collaborated with the design team. My responsibilities included discovery interviews, usability testing, analysis, and initial prototype design.

  • The app’s monthly active user rate increased by approximately 15% after design updates.

Teachers said that they found it easier to search for relevant professional development resources.

Home Workout Space Discovery

    Research Questions:

What is the user journey for setting up a home fitness space?

How might our products and services support an improved home workout space for our customers?

  • I worked as the UX researcher on a cross-functional team.

I recruited participants, moderated remote diary studies / user interviews, and crafted a survey.

  • Revenue in health and fitness categories sales increased over the previous year.

The team made updates to digital messaging, service offerings, and in-store layout that better address underlying customer needs.
